Sure real estate, just like any other business, is risky but too much fear of things going wrong prevents us from achieving our fullest potential. Another example is greed. Yes you bought the property for $200,000, a couple of months ago, and you have now been offered $230,000 for it. Should you sell it or wait for a better opportunity? Greed will make you choose the latter. If you are able to earn 15 cents on every dollar of your investment that was made two months ago, the return is certainly not bad. Sure this is contradictory to my previous point but hey, it is good to appreciate what you get!
